What types of events do you cater?

We cater a wide variety of events from intimate family gatherings to celebrations of life, weddings, corporate lunches, and everything in between. If it brings people together over food, we’d love to be a part of it.

Do you offer customized menus?

Yes, it's our favorite. We believe every event is unique, and your menu should reflect that. We’ll work closely with you to create a spread that suits your tastes, dietary needs, and the feel of your event. Please note if requesting a customized menu, it may take 2 to 3 days to determine the price per person.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes! Whether it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, or allergy-friendly, we’re happy to accommodate dietary needs and ensure all your guests are taken care of.

Do you provide staff for serving and cleanup?

Yes, we can provide professional staff for setup, service, and cleanup if needed. Our serving fee is $75 per hour per server. We’ll discuss what level of service fits your event best during planning.

What areas do you serve?

We’re based in La Crosse, WI, and happily serve Onalaska, Galesville, Winona (MN), La Crescent (MN), Madison, Milwaukee, and the surrounding areas. If you’re unsure if we travel to your location, just ask!

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier, the better, especially for popular dates! We recommend reaching out at least 4–6 weeks ahead, though we do our best to accommodate last-minute events whenever possible.

What is the food truck minimum?

For food truck events, we have a minimum of $750 for non-profit events and $1,000 for private events. This helps cover staffing, prep, and travel to ensure everything runs smoothly.

How do I get started?

Will the food truck be out every day and late at night?

No, unfortunately not—our team is small and still growing! While we’d love to be everywhere all the time, we’re currently focusing on select events and pop-ups. How long has Mia’s Kitchen been around?

Mia’s Kitchen was started on January 9th, 2021, by Mia at just 15 years old as a catering business. What began as a passion for cooking and serving others has grown into a small but mighty team bringing flavor and heart to every event we’re part of!

Do you have a snow cone and cotton candy machine available for bookings?

Yes, we do! These fun additions are always a hit at events. Just contact us with your inquiry, and we’ll fill you in on availability, pricing, and how we can add a little extra sweetness to your celebration.

Can I have the smoker for an event booking?

Yes! Please mention this in your inquiry form and we can discuss if the smoker will be available.
